 e North Veterinary Eye Care Do you finish eye exams feeling as though the 
 eye still has secrets to tell? Are you looking for hands-on CE in an inter
 active\, small group setting? In this fundamentals of ophthalmology course
 \, participants will leave feeling more confident in their ability to accu
 rately perform basic ophthalmic diagnostics and perform a thorough eye exa
 m. Led by a board-certified ophthalmologist and our team of Ophthalmology 
 RVTs\, participants will learn the systematic approach to examining each s
 tructure within this tiny\, beautiful organ. Didactic lectures will be fol
 lowed by a wet lab\, where participants will have the opportunity to devel
 op their exam skills on normal patients as well as patients with ophthalmi
 c diseases. Instruction will focused on using ophthalmic equipment routine
 ly available in primary care practice. However\, participants will also be
  invited to experience equipment more commonly used in specialty care if t
 hey wish. RVTs are invited to register for the lectures and diagnostic wet
  lab portions of the course as participants. In addition\, as an option\, 
 RVTs who volunteer to stay to assist in holding animals for the remainder 
 of the DVM wet lab will gain valuable skills in appropriate restraint for
