 : Femoral head and neck ostectomy (FHO) and medial patella luxation (MPL) 
 repair are two frequently performed surgeries of the pelvic limb. Join us 
 for this course which will equip you to successfully perform these procedu
 res in your practice! The course will involve a combination of short lectu
 res\, followed by hands-on cadaver practice under the supervision of a spe
 cialist small animal surgeon. Presented by Dr. William Hawker BVSc\, DVSc\
 , MANZCVS (small animal surgery)\, DACVS-SA Dr. Hawker is a 2012 graduate 
 from the University of Sydney\, Australia. Following 7-years spent in gene
 ral practice he took the specialization plunge. He completed his residency
  in 2024 and is currently a specialist small animal surgeon at the Ontario
  Veterinary College in Guelph. With experience on ‘both sides’ of the 
 referral fence\, Dr. Hawker is passionate about enabling general practitio
 ners to surgically upskill.
